Factors Affecting the Success of Smoking Cessation Clinic: A Cross-Sectional Study

Objective: This study aimed to determine the frequency of smoking cessation and affecting factors in patients who applied clinic.
 Method: included smokers aged 18 years over Chest Diseases Clinic Smoking Cessation Outpatient between 1 April 2019 31 July 2019. All participants were evaluated with a sociodemographic questionnaire, Fagerström Test for Nicotine Dependence (FNBT) Beck Depression Scale during initial outpatient clinic admission. Subsequently, treatment was started all called at 6 12 months their status questioned. Smokers did never smoked last year accepted as ex-smokers.
 Results: A total 270 study, 48 (19.5%) found quit end one year. There no significant difference ex-smokers current terms age, gender, marital status, educational level, employment income duration smoking, FNDT Beck’s depression scores (p>0.05).
